Does anyone know if they are doing a Toys for Tot's Ride at T.O.T. this year???

It was Sunday. Sorry, shoulda called - guess I figured you would have heard. There was no riding anyway becuz of the weather.

Hunting is allowed at Vietnam, and there WILL be hunters there on Saturday. I recommend moving the ride to Sunday, or if you must ride Saturday, wear a $hitload of orange and use bells.

There's also Borderland, where hunting is illegal year-round.

That sucks about the Toys for Tot's ride. Oh well, maybe next year.

As far as hunting at Nickerson, I am almost positive that there is none allowed. I have been riding there a lot, and I have never come across any.

Happy Birthday by the way. I wish I could make a weekend ride, but the wife is working extra shifts through the holidays. Maybe we can hook up for ride soon though. I lost your number, but I'll shoot you an e-mail.

On a side note, I finally got my surly tugnut for the K.M. I'll throw it on tomorrow and see how it goes.

Cool. Tks for the info on Nickerson. Might have to start going there on Satdays until hunting season is over.

Dave is building me up some new wheels for my KM, so hopefully I'll be on that in the next week or two and we can do some serious SS rides.

Shanks, what was wrong with your old wheels on the KM?
I'll take you up on the s/s rides, I am ready to get going on mine. Also,
if you head out to Nickerson, let me know and I'll try to make it over.

Nothing was wrong with the old wheels - just wanted to go tubeless, and those rims weren't tubeless compatible. So I got some ZTR Flows - same as on the Turner.

I'll let you know about saturday. Want to go to Vietnam but this weather could saturate those trails and I suspect they'll take a bit longer to drain and dry than our trails down here - must be the sand.
