Still no interest this is one of the best all mountain bikes going and the build is excellent. It is just sitting in my shop due to road riding.

he means the price is very high under the current circumstances, hence no bites.

ebay item 200278034628 was a similar ride (not the same), bidding got to $1000.

that's a sweet bike. if you don't need the cash, I would hang on to it. I would love to ride that bike!

Hum I guess not all people look at things in the positive like me. If Evil can't afford the bike that is fine but posting articles on it being too expensive for the market I don't think that is appropriate for a mountain bike classified.

I agree it is a sweet ride but I am not going back to Colorado for a while and that is where I rode the bike. Riding two different bikes in RI.

Maybe there is someone who is not living on credit and has been good with his or her money looking for an excellent deal. Time will tell.

It's a tough time to sell a used bike, period. MTBR/Ebay are representative of the fire sale pricing that's happening right now. Basically people are holding out and waiting for lower prices, this applies to those who are responsible with their spending. For better or worse "Why pay a fair price now when I can most likely pay less later?" seems to be the mentality. There are some stupid deals to be had right now if you are buying..

Sorry dude, not at all. I meant that to mean "wow, wish I could buy that, but this economy is killing me". In hindsight, my intent wasn't all that clear. My "b".

that and by and large, we're trail rats. It's really how things trickle down. yes, many guys/gals here ride sweet kits, but when purchasing used they expect a silly deal. How Silly? One year ago I sold a custom FTW Welded Sinister 29er (1 of 6 ever welded at the the time), with a Maverick DUC 32, Hope Mono Mini Pros, king Dreadset, X9, blah blah blah complete for $1500 dropped from $1800.

The frame and Brakes retailed for more than that.

But that is how it goes with the used bike market. With eBay and Craigslist buyers holding prices low it is hard to sell such a nice bike as the one you have for sale here.

We're all just trail rats looking for a bargain. If we want new stuff we look for the bro-down at the shop or where ever or we snipe it on ebay from sellers barely covering QBP cost.

The new bike Economics isn't Buy it for retail, ride it until it's broken and shelve it, then buy new stuff. It's buy it at or a lil' above cost, use it until something shinier comes out, flip it for a few bucks less than you paid (but 1/2 retail so the new buyer feels like they got a steal) and ride it until you take up inline skating :D

So, will you take $1100 and a Shetland Pony in trade for that bad larry?
