Come join SEMASS NEMBA, TrailWatch and the DCR in our annual Blue Hills toys collection for families in need on the South Shore......
Bring an unwrapped gift for any age kid, and hook up with a led ride, or on your own.....enjoy coffee, tea, cocoa, homemade pastries, etc (all courtesy of the above sponsors), hang out by the bonfire.......
We'll organize a kid's ride, and if here's enough interest(and someone to lead!), even a road ride......
All rides will commence by 10:30 am, and be back by 12-12:30..........There may be also an early (7 am)morning ride, if you're interested let me know.
DCR will also lead a hike at 1:00.
Even if you can't ride or hike, the toy donation of course is welcome, and all donations will be delivered the following week to InterFaith Social Services in Quincy.
Also, looking for ride leaders any level, if interested cobblestv@gmail.com or call

Just thought I'd bump it up......
I (and others I know)will be riding earlier, maybe 7:30 or so, to beat the rush.... let me know if you're up to that....otherwise, at 10, we'll show ya around.......

Hmm, double header, interesting. How long you guys thinking of riding for beforehand, pace?

I'm thinking 1.5-2hrs. There's a racepace group going out about the same time, too, but this one will be not-so-fast......maybe we'll start together and see what happens, but I suspect we''ll split at some point.
The 'official' led rides will start by 10:30.
Anyone interested in leading a ride, let me know and I'll put you down for one.

If I knew how to link Blues together better I'd offer, but don't know the lay of the land well enough, sorry. Might be able to twist someone else into it though.

Hey Steve, I cant make it this year, but here's a link to some pics (http://www.semassnemba.org/Toy%20Ride%2005/toyride05index.htm) from the 2005 ride, (it might be like this Sunday!)..riding on a fresh layer of 2" snow is a total blast!

Yes more often than not, it turns out to be either real cold, or snowing.....or both....but the snow part is always fun!
