Check it out!!!!
Kid MTB Ride *** 2nd half will be a night ride *** Finishing trick-or-treat trail *** bonfire *** weenie roast!!!!
Hey! The next Kid Ride (half night ride) is going to be Saturday November 1st. Meet at my house for 4:00pm. A ride, 2nd half will be with lights (45 minutes or so), trick-or-treating on the trail, bonfire, and weenie roast!!!
The night ride part is not so bad... We did it a couple months ago and it went great. Myself, and a few others will have SUPER BRIGHT lights to follow the kids with. Any combination of headlamps or flashlights duct taped to the handle bars or helmet will suffice. It will be light-out for the first hour or so, so if the next part does not go well for anyone, it will be easy to bailout. There will be bailout leaders. Please bring something to share around the bonfire after. We will have the Weenies, Chips, Drinks and Smores fixin's...(you can't even believe the number of Smores we went through last time... it was crazy...) Please also bring chairs and weenie/marshmallow sticks, if you have them. Let us know if you will be able to make it, or if you have any questions about this one.
You don't have to have kids to join us. All are welcome!
Thanks! Steve
PS - I could use a few volunteers (that aren't afraid of the dark) to staff the trick-or-treat spots on the trail. This will just be for the last 10 or 15 minutes of the ride. So, you can do both, participate in the ride, and help out for the last few minutes.
