10/19/2008 9:30 AM Franklin Falls Trail Day, Location: Franklin, NH
CNHNEMBA has scheduled an Autumn trail building day the Franklin Falls Dam. There are new trails being planned, so this will be a building session more than a maintenance day. Bring tools if you have them. Loppers and rakes are always welcome.
It will be held on Sunday morning October 19th. Arrive at the parking lot area around 9:30 AM and we head to the woods at 10 AM. We'll leave directions so later arrivals can find us.
Of course there will be riding afterwards. This would be a great way to introduce yourself to the trail network if you have not been to the Dam yet. Bring a friend.
The dam entrance is on route 127 in Franklin, about a mile North of Central street in Franklin (RTE 11). If you are coming South on route 93, take Exit 22 head south on 127 and the dam is on the right after approximately 3 miles.
