I live right near by. What level rider are you? How long and what time are you looking to ride? I'm definitely riding this weekend, though not set on Shenipsit (though I could).

Hey John
On Saturday the 4th I could either start up at 8am or around 3:30 or 4pm im good for 2- 2/12 hrs. I can ride up over and through just about anything but im not too fast though.

Ok, let me see what my schedule looks like for the weekend. I'll post back up later in the week.

I could be up for a ride on Sat at 8AM if y'all want more company. I've only ridden Shenipsit in the dark a couple of times so I won't be much of a guide, but...

Looks like I might be able to do something Saturday AM, I have to be back to my house by 11:00 or so, if we start at 8:00 we can still get in a 2.5 hour ride. If its ok with you guys I like to start at Hopkins Road rather than the main lot. I'll post up directions later on - starting at the main lot is not a big deal if that's better for you guys.

I guess that means PM Sat is out, Jisch? I guess I can try to make 8, but no guarantees on that. Let's talk later. Slow sounds good for me these days, though.

I will likely be riding Sat PM, though with wifey and John. Undetermined where. Slow is the name of the game on that ride (though getting faster).

The more the better. Do you ride at night much?

Hopkins road is allright for me. Turns out my in-laws house is just a couple of miles from Shinipsit

I usually ride Robinson on Mon nights and I've done Shenipsit twice at night. As daylight decreases I'm sure I'll be out at night more and more.

Where do we park on Hopkins Road? I've only ridden from the main lot and from the hospital.

Googlemap to 25 Hopkins Road. Its a dirt road right off route 140. Look for the spot where the blue trail heads into the woods.

Hey guys
I just wanted to check in to see if we are still on for tomorrow @ 8am?

I am in. I think two guys from EMS are going as well.

I am a bit concerned about parking at Hopkins Road now - there's not a lot of parking room there.

Let's meet at the main lot on Gulf Road instead (I hope G00W reads this!)

My cell is 860 808 6221 if anyone needs to reach me.

I'm bailing, Jisch. PM looks bad at this point, too.

I like that terrain and will be going back to explore. Thanks again.

John, if you get the urge to ride up here in Mass, let me or Gimpy know.
