For Sale: Co-Motion Bofus offroad tandem. $1200 for complete bike as is. Will consider selling frame alone.
Our offroad tandem is feeling neglected. We haven't ridden it in a few years. It deserves to go to an appreciative home.
The frame was built in the early 90's. We bought the frame from friends who had used it primarily as a road bike. We set it up with a Zzyzx tandem suspension fork, and big beefy Sun Rhyno rims.

We had the drum brake braze-on redone and had the frame repainted in 2002. The pics show it with drop bars, but we have recently changed it to a more traditional offroad fashion with flat bars, v-brake levers and thumbshifters.
The frame is small, but with the suspension fork, the front end is raised up a bit. If you are interested, email direct and we can discuss size in more detail.
We are asking $1200 for the complete bike.
It can be reconfigured back to a road tandem, with the purchase of a new fork, and lighter rims - an exercise left for the purchaser. And yes, I would consider selling just the frame.
I would prefer not to deal with shipping the beast, so I'm posting locally before I post to a wider audience.
