Sinister Bikes VIETNAM Trail Day #3

Please join us for the third and final Sinister Bikes Vietnam trail care day of 2008. This is a work and ride event so bring your bike. We'll be working until Noon, having lunch and then riding!!

Come out, get dirty and maybe you’ll win a beautiful Gruitr frame from Sinister Bikes!! All participants will be entered to win.

When: Sunday, September 21st, 9:00am to Noon

What: Depending on the turnout for this event, we will either be tuning and tweaking Rubber Stamp or cutting new trail in the same area.

Where: We will meet at the parking lot behind Wendy’s in Milford on Rt. 85 near Rt. 495, at 8:45AM.

What Else:
Please bring water, work gloves and bug spray (long pants and work boots are recommended). Bring your bike too if you’d like to ride afterward.
Tools and lunch will be provided.

Bringing the bikes in with us or coming back to vehicles before riding? Just need to know whether or not to secure the scooter in the car.

The plan was to head back to the parking area for lunch then ride from there. Lugging lunch up to the work area is a PITA

I am planning on lending a hand. Will not be able to hang for lunch or the ride afterwards tho' :( Does everyone hike into Nam or do they ride in? Anyone getting there a little earlier than the 8:45 start?

Most people walk up, but you can ride up top and meet us. Depending on the turnout, we may be carrying rockbars and maddox's up the hill.

We will be meeting at the Wendy's lot at 9:00am.

What an awesome day! Perfect weather, and a big crew of around 30+ came out to help cut in the second half of Rubber Stamp. While this new section will still need some work to get it up and fully ready for prime time riding, it is just incredible how much work did get done! When it is finally finished, I know it'll be a trail that'll be every bit as popular as DLS and the currently finished side of Rubber Stamp.

Thanks to everyone who came out, you guys (and Laura, of course!) really kicked butt! I hope you all get a chance to try it out soon!
