Anyone been to the Kingdom Trails over the last couple days? I was going to head up there on Sat but the website says some trails are closed and conditions are "not ideal" because of all the rain. With more rain in store over the next couple days it may not be worth the trip????

Make the trip after they've had some time to dry out. There is a lot that's closed right now and the continuing rain is certainly not helping the situation. I was just up there this past weekend. We cut our ride short on Saturday because of all the mud and didn't ride at all on Sunday.

Thanks BadDNA

After reading your message I called the Boyz at KT to get a trail update for this coming weekend. Lets just say anyone planning to head in that direction over the next week or so should give them a ring first....

With over 2 inches of rain up north last night and more expected, it might not be worth going this weekend.

Here's a quote from the KT home page.

"Thursday August 7, 2008
Conditions are extremely wet in places. DARLING HILL TRAILS ARE OPEN TODAY. We are hoping to have them open for this weekend.THE TRAILS ARE VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO NEGATIVE IMPACT.
THE BURKE MOUNTAIN TRAILS ARE CLOSED. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING."
