I bought this on ebay to try out. Not my thing. I paid $81 shipped, a good deal considering they are 125 new. I would like to sell it for $81 shipped.

quoted from the ebay listing...

Wingnut Gear - Hyper 3.0 Hydration Pack

800 cubic inch pack that can carry up to 3 liters (100oz) of water with plenty of room left over for your gear.

Bladder not included, compatible with any existing 3 liter bladders. Pack is bottom loading.

Condition: Pack is used but in excelent condition. It was used for the week-long, Transrockies Stage Race in 2007 (which was about 364 miles through the Canadian Rockies) and is the perfect pack for such adventures. It was used on a few local rides after that and then thuroughly cleaned and set aside. The sail cloth material is so resilient to wear, the pack remains like new. The mesh pockets, including the straps and phone/gel pocket, are not torn, frayed, or damaged. All zippers are like new and watertight.

*included by JH: I used this on about 3 rides. Going back to bottles and seatpouch.*

From Wingnutgear.com:

-Quote

1. As part of the Lowrider posse, the 3.0 features our unique harness system that situates the weight of the pack over your bike seat for better balance while riding. Fully adjustable.

2. The Compression Lacing System gives you options. You can store extra or odd-sized gear (helmets, jackets, frisbees) outside when the pack is full, or compress the pack to reduce shifting when lightly packed.

3. Waterproof zipper keeps out snow, sand, and of course...water. This, along with the waterproof SailCloth construction, keeps your gear dry when things get sloppy.

4. Sidewings are hinged along the backpanel, allowing you to store gear between the pack and the sidewings. Works well for awkward equipment such as snowshoes, rollerblades, or even skis. (Patent pending)

I have never liked hydration packs. I thought this might be different. It was certainly better, but I rarely ride for more than 2 hours, so a couple of bottles is fine for me.

I also need money for some plane tickets... otherwise I would just keep it and fiddle with the straps to see if I can get it to work out.

Flying a family of four to Europe for Christmas is expensive!

jh - How bulky is this thing? It isn't their largest sized pack right? But it'll hold a 3 liter reservoir with no problems? Is a reservoir included in your asking price?

read the listing, no bladder included. any standard bladder works.

it's very lightweight. i liked the 'wing' pockets. not the largest pack. check the wingnutgear.com website. price is firm and fair.

I read the listing - but figured it might be included since that was the original ebayers wording.

I'm gonna sleep on it, but I'm interested. Did it bother you at all behind your neck when you used it? I have an older version of the Wingnut pack and I had to modify the straps to prevent it from pressing into my lower neck region just above my shoulders.

IT did not bother me behind my neck.
