So I got lucky in more than 1 way on Valentines Day...the wife also bought me a Garmin Forerunner 305! Very cool when the spouse embraces one of my hobbies that she could care so little about. So I have been enjoying the 305 wearing it as it came, like a wristwatch, for each of my rides. Recently another rider indicated that they make a handlebar mount for the forerunner 305 and that he had a friend who was using one, and was very happy with it. So I looked on-line and found them, only $12. I quickly mounted it to my bike and went out on Sunday for a ride at the Pinehills solo. After about 1.5 miles I noticed the mount was working fine, only to realize sometime after 1.5 miles it was gone! I was extremly ticked off, and the threat was setting in that I may not find it again. (retails for $250). After about an hour of backtracking on the trail by foot, I found it laying under some brush. (My dose of luck for the next few years.) Long story short DONT buy the bar mount....doesnt hold up.
