I second that. I used to live on Howard rd where the parking area is now and know some of the trails. I think I will go and check them out tomorrow. A map if available would be nice. Great place to ride...

The Little network that slappy and his crew made makes for a good ride, its just passed the graffiti bridge. The same crew just finished a new loop off the midstate in the area around the old farm. I've yet to ride it, but its in the latest issue of singletracks.

Any1 have a map of it? I dont like going to a new place and not knowing where I am. You spend more time worrying about where u are than u do enjoying the ride.

Dammit - I just had a nice detailed response typed up and lost it...

Anyway - quick version

There should be some maps for the taking at Howard Rd parking lot. Not done yet over there, but it's coming along. Oct 18th, next trail day.

PLEASE walk bikes on the Midstate where it passes through the muddy farm fields. Bikers are under scrutiny in that area and we could potentially lose the privilege of passing through, so be very sure to tread lightly.

There's a map posted on a tree about 1/3 mile in from the Graffiti bridge along the dble track. Keep in mind that all trails in this area are on private property and the owner has very generously allowed us to ride there. (Also, I think the Loop rides a little easier clockwise...)

When riding from the Graffiti Bridge and passing behind Crocker Pond on the singletrack, please, please, DO NOT CONTINUE ONWARD ONCE YOU REACH DOUBLETRACK AT THE FAR END OF THE POND!!!! Everything from here to 140/2A is OFF LIMITS, you need to cut a sharp right and then follow the RR tracks if you plan to pass through all the way to 140. Non-resident access to this plot of land is a hot topic at the moment and current behavior of riders WILL affect the chances for access of resident bikers' in the future, so please help us out and either ride the singletrack as an out and back or use the RR tracks to pass through (there's currently nothing worth riding in there anyway, fwiw).

I'll try to get some better info up when I get home - I'm up at Sunday River taking in some DH for a few days. :D

I've gotta second that. I rode it clockwise Friday evening. The one thing that keeps going through my mind every time I ride it is that it's a non-stop series of "you've got to be kidding", for those of us (like me) who aren't made of solid steel. :-)

BTW - Nice vid of you guys on Sunday River's website, Dennis.

Cool guys thx for the info. I think im going to wait to ride out there till I can get a guide. I dont wanna go or do anything that could jepordize the trails. Especially where you guys have put in so much time and effort building them. Do you guys have a regular time you ride out there?

Also Slappy - If u need an extra set of hands to help with trail upkeep let me know, I'll be more than happy to give you guys a hand. Just lemme know when. Thx again!

Let me know when you can ride - be happy to give a tour. The layout is pretty simple though and it's not a very big area, so don't sweat it if you'd like to go do a little exploring. It's pretty obvious where the singletrack ends and the Rec land begins.

I try to get out every other day. Im going today to Leo around 5 with a buddy of mine. So I'm good to go Wednesday or Friday (altho thats the 4th). If wednesday i can be there between 5-5:30. Friday, anytime since I got the day off. However I would prefer late morning(10-11), or early after noon (1-3).

Chances are we have probably met before. I rode aot a few years back, went off and on for a bit the last couple years and am back full swing this year. I did alot of riding with the guys from Gear Works. Anyway, let me know what time is best for you.

Well my buddy stood me up at Leo. So I figured I would go check out these trails. I hit the loop thats to the left of the map you first come across. It was nice and fast, im not sure if there is anything else out there. I didnt want to explore to much.

Shoot me a PM when you would like to ride.
