BVNEMBA Wed night ride for 6/18, Singletary trails, Millbury

I'm sorry for the late notice this week. We'll be riding at Singletary trails tomorrow night. 6pm start time as usual, all skill levels are welcome, helmets are required as usual. This is not a race, we wait for everyone. We meet at the parking lot next to the fire house on West Main St. in Millbury.

Great ride yesterday. I think the final count was 15 or 17. We split into two groups when we got to the singletrack. It started to rain just after we started which made the roots very slippery. I made the mistake of saying that it wasn't so bad considering the rain. From then on every root seemed extra slippery. A few minutes later I slipped on a root and it took me right into a tree. We rejoined the mellow group after 4 dropped out and finished the ride together. We rode a little over 7 miles. See my gps info here (http://connect.garmin.com/activity/216801). I forgot to turn it back on after a couple of breaks so its a bit off. It did a pretty good job of tracking considering the trails practically double back on themselves constantly. I also forgot my hrm :(

I was planning on getting helmet cam footage but the rain put an end to that. I did manage a couple pics tho.

That was a fun ride! The rain did make a bit slippery!
