I would def be interested in something like this as well, but I can't make the 25th either. I would even be willing to host a SS only ride up near me at Franklin Falls (maintained by the Central NH chapter). Its a great locale for SS.

I'll have to check to see when I could pull that off but I def think we could turn this into some sort of 'series' maybe a few rides in NH (Fort Rock, FOMBA, Franklin Falls) and a few in MA?

I'd be willing to lead a ride @ Harold parker state forest. We do a lot trail work there and can give the local SS friendly loops. Sundays usually are better for me. I would have to work around our trail care dates.

July 25 -27 is the Kenda fest sponsored by Dirt Rag. You all are going right?. Excellent bike and beer weekend. Nice singletrack off the back of Jiminy (sp?) peak. Like 7 miles of downhill singletrack. Commuted in today on my nice steel Burly Runabout, courtesy of Dirt Rag.

I was lucky dawg once a bunch of years ago. i got an american classic seatpost. damn all you with your bikes and wheels! i love the burly runabout. sweet bike. but i did win a santa cruz superlight from speedgoat about 10 years ago. so i think i have used up my luck, so to speak.

not going to kendafest. not into the big events. and i dont like driving. but anything happens on the cape or south of bosstown, and i will do my best to make it. an SS powwow would be cool. come to otis and i will lead.

One of my projects has been converting my road bike to SS, those wheels will solve this problem!:D

Talked to Eric at DR yesterday on all the specifics, I am really excited about this, WOOHOO!

pending spousal approval, i am starting a rumor that there will be a summer solstice ride at otis on cape cod on sat june 21. if we are willing and able and have enough local knowledge, we can link up to some other places, even an otis-TOT ride. i know otis-woods hole, almost all dirt and almost all pretty good.

anyone know all of the dirt links between otis and TOT? I have done it before, but i was following someone. i could do it with maybe 5 miles of pavement, i think.

I just checked my calendar, I'll be in Florida with the family that weekend. DANG!!!
The Summer Solstice ride sounds good though, you can call it the SS SS ride, or 4S ride, or Force-d to ride ride, OK I'll stop now.

I'm doing a 44 mile fundraising ride on 6/22, can't make it.
