Here is a bike you might like. I had it made by a friend in Maine to hold me over while my Ted Wojcik was being repainted. The Ted is back and this needs to go.
I could build you a nice SS for $1k. picked up on cape cod. I could ship too.

I posted something about it on mtbr, with pics of it set up geared.

and the building of it

The front triangle is from Chris Kelly, as is the fork. He had his own non sus corrected geo. I cannot remember the fork length, but it's the intended length.

The rear triangle was brazed on by David Shanks of Indigocycles. Deda double pinch chainstays and paragon slider dropouts.

Some light scratches, nothing crazy. Fits a 2.55 tire in the back no problem.

Bike is taken apart right now. Take the frame fork stem and BB for 650
or you can build a bike
cranks 100
bontrager wheels from my GF rig. exiwolf, nanoraptor or jones tires. 40 extra gets you 2.55 wierwolfs. $150
flat or riser bar, Aluminum. free with purchase, also an answer stem. 30 more gets you a thomson
avid mech discs $100
XT levers 25
bontrager post. i have some seats (non ti rails), let me know if you want wide and cushy or narrow and firm. 20
i have some OK stems. $20 extra gets you a thomson. tell me a length and I will look.
square taper BB.
nice compact BCD race face cranks with ring and guard 100
what else???
a few small nics in the paint, nothing crazy. i rode it maybe 100 or 200 miles.

it adds up to 1045, but please take it all for 1000 cash picked up. i could drive a little to meet you. You will have to assemble the bike. frame fork headset and BB stay together.

I have some more stuff too, including a little nicer bontrager race lite wheelset. it's the 28h one, with a few spokes replaced. It's lighter, and can take a cassette if you want to go geared, but not as burly. AA sold it to me. You could do those instead of the SS wheels same price.

PM me. I really do not like shipping bikes, but could do so if necessary.

I will put this on mtbr in a few days. Prefer to see it stay in NE.
