Hi NEMBA,
I am a Cleveland Area Mountain Bike Association board and racing team member. I grew up in Mass and get back there twice a year to the Situate/Plymouth area. Looking for group rides this summer between June 30-July 5, generally South Shore to Cape. I think I'm an intermediate rider and I've been riding about 2-3 years. I'm doing the All Out in Moody Park race in Claremont NH June 29.
I know it's months away but wanted to get the word out since ride time will be competing with family visit time! Keep me in mind if you're doing any group stuff. We have some real struggles gaining acceptance for mountain biking in Cleveland. I'd like to hear how things are there.
Looking forward to meeting some of you! Will send my email as needed.

You will have several close by options. Wampatuck, Duxbury State forest, Pine Hills. This way you can sneak off when no one is looking. Check out the group rides on this site under riding zone. At Wampatuck , you can grab a map and negotiate well marked trails. When I was new to there, I often tagged on to friendly groups to learn where the better stuff is. When you are in the area post here for tour guides. You'll do fine.

Thanks- I've never ridden on my home turf. It's exciting for me to hit my home soil with my beloved bike! Only a New Englander would understand that...

Wampatuck, Duxbury State forest, Pine Hills.

Good suggestions, and I can second the first park...Wompatuck. Great place, lots of fun for many different kinds o' riders. I just figured it's be easier to find out about with the correct spelling.
