Ticks= SPRING!

I wish I could say I had actually been riding when I picked up the deer tick today but alas surgery has kept my feet on the ground-and off the pedals. I was out at my son's track meet in Lincoln, MA. I sat on the ground for a while exercising my camera and when I got home, took off my shirt and found the bugger walking about on my shoulder! Way better walking than munching!

If there are ticks, how far away can the warm weather be?

I've had two rides at Nickerson this past week and have picked up ticks on both rides. They are definitely out on the Cape.
