My family & I bought this dark purple Piccolo at Wheelworks about 3 years ago and really had a lot of fun with it. our daughter now can fit on the back of the tandem bike so we don't need the Piccolo any more and I'm hoping that it can do for another family what it did for ours. Our daughter used to be scared of mountain biking due to a couple minor spills at GB, and didn't like road riding because of hills. The Piccolo resolved both issues and now she's as into cycling as any other 12 year old I know.
It originally retailed for about $350, I'd like to get $250 for it. Piccolo's are the best trail-a-bikes available, with typical Burley quality built in. Sale includes the "Moose" rack shown in the pictures, which provides a much more secure and predictable mount option than the usual skewer-mount systems seen on the $100 trail-a-bikes. 6-speed drive train helps kids learn the ins & outs of shifting. Stem and handlebars as well as seat are adjustable: most kids from age 4-10 should fit no problem. Makes longer family rides more do-able. As far as condition, it's like new, with only minor scuffs from car trips. Never raced, never wrecked
PM me with questions.
