ranmore Mountain Celebrates 70th Birthday

Cranmore celebrates Platinum year Dec. 21, 2007 with full-day ticket for only $3.30
New online ticket deals all season long
NEW historical photo gallery! (http://www.cranmore.com/info/winter/70thanniversarygallery.asp) - featuring photos submitted by Cranmore skiers and riders. We're marking our 70th year of continuous operation this winter with a variety of fun events, celebrations and special lift ticket deals (http://www.cranmore.com/info/winter/valuedeals.asp). Since 1938, skiers have glided down the slopes in North Conway's hometown ski area. And while the original Skimobile lift (http://www.cranmore.com/info/winter/skimobile.asp) has been replaced by a high-speed express quad chairlift, after all these years, Cranmore is still known for its distinctive terrain (http://www.cranmore.com/info/winter/trailmap.asp), sunny slopes and distinguished ski school (http://www.cranmore.com/info/winter/adultlessons.asp).

Cranmore kicks off its Platinum year with a special anniversary lift ticket price on Friday, December 21, 2007, when the venerable resort will roll back the clocks and offer a full day ticket for only $3.30. That's what skiers were paying back when World War II was looming and FDR was in the White House... and Cranmore first operated the Skimobile.

We(the NU Ski Team) got thrown off their lift back in the late 60's while freeskiing.
Something about the way we were/weren't dressed....or maybe acted......or.....

Thanks for the reminder of some really foolish behavior. Glad I don't act that way now. :^)
