I had just pulled off a near perfect wheelie drop off this rock, but the Olympus point and shoot has a shutter lag that couldn't catch it. Oh well.

"No snow on Cape". How true is this thread now?? Have 7-8 inches where I am(Bellingham) and don't think the new storm due tommorrow will rid it all.

We got maybe 10 -12 in near Wompatuck. If the snowmobilers got out there the last few nights, should have some good packed trails.

On the Cape, Thursday's storm turned to ice/rain at the end and created a crust on top of a few inches of snow - not rideable. As of this post (Sunday 9:45AM): we got a lot of snow this morning, but it has changed over again. Hoping it rains all day and clears off the trails so that they will be rideable again by mid-week or so.

figured I'd jump in on this. wife and I are coming up for the holiday's and were thinking of spending a few days in Falmouth late next week. I know it's a ways out but what is the outlook on being able to ride Otis? Trying to get an idea on whether we should pack a couple bikes or not.
Longshanks, I sent you a pm about the same on BS.....
thanks

Can someone help this guy out. I live in Attleboro which is 35-45 min. north of the Cape. I don't think the trails on the cape are ridable yet because the last snow we got was a lot. My brothers live on the cape along with my mother and they got just as much as I did here in Attleboro. So the riding here is not so my guess would be that the riding on the cape is also not. Sorry for the bad news. I hope that helps.

I use this site to get a feel for the amount of snow on the cape. If there is snow at the rotary there will be snow in the woods.

Cape still not rideable, but today's (realtively) warm rain is definitely going to help clear the trails of snow. Unfortunately, the forecast doesn't look too good for the near future, especially as far as the trails drying out anytime soon, but we'll see.

Otis and TOT are not rideable -- still too much snow.
Willow St (exit 7) is ok - the leaf cover helps prevent too much muddines.
