finally we have a new website started.Hoping to get some more content put into it in the near future. Take a look and get back to me on any ideas that might make it a good place to visit before coming to Maine
thanks Calvin Weeks

Calvin, thanks for the message on the other thread. The new site looks great. I look forward to watching the site progress and hope to help contribute (at least ideas) in the future.

To fill you in, my wife and I are moving outside Freeport over the holiday with 3 1/2 bikes, 3 vehicles, 3 pairs of skis, and 2 pair of snowshoes and 2 dogs (hopefully the moving truck shows up with everything else). I look forward to exploring new trails in the area and I'm sure I'll be asking for a lot of suggestions come Spring.

...moving outside Freeport...

Oh man - you will be right on top of Bradbury Mtn State park with 30 miles of sweet singletrack - see you out there!

I know. I drove into the parking area last month on a visit to check it out. Didn't have time to get out and do a little hike. I obviously didn't have the bike (flew in) or I would have found a way to make it work. What's the park like in Winter? Mostly snowshoeing, etc.?

That was for Calvin!
Website looks great. Maps, maps, and more maps! Connections to area businesses that are along the map routes.
Connection to the 180 mile Hut to Hut Trail.

Come on up to Canaan. Ride the Enchanted Forest in the Park. Climb Three-Puke-Hill. Blast down the Pinnacle Trail.
Drink cold OBP's at the screwdiver sharpener's house with free camping! (Calvin.)

yes, mostly snowshoeing and some XC skiing. I volunteer, along with Calvin and a bunch of others to help out the park. Trail maps can be found here: http://bradburymountain.com/page.cfm?pageID=53
