I went riding early with Peter W. and we cut out some fairly large deadfall that were blocking the trail. There's more out there.......I was outta there by 1030 to get on with the rest of the day.....
I heard Donna had twenty-some riders! The Turkey ride had 22 registered....
odds for prizes musta been good!

I cleared a bunch of deadfall the morning before (saturday) from last weeks wind. Steve, if you PM me some locations for additional deadfall it'll get removed this weekend if you'd like.

ranger steveg is also out looking for stuff. clue him in if you come across stuff that is too big or questionable.
in the nature study area there are several smaller logs placed across the trails as water stops. you can see where the trail has begun to wash out before they were put there. they're all rideable.

The only one that we didnt get in the NW section(I think) was on the 'road' that goes along the fence from the front entrance. It was a good-size tree, but can be sawn with a regular trail saw....... There was another one that we took out there, but this one is closer to 'the dog'.
I'm sure there are plenty more out there........
I will be there again early sunday.
