I do...I just hate getting assigned 8 projects in one day that are due in less than a week and staying up until 12:30 working. That's how honors teachers treat you I guess.

And, bike rides have gone from 4-5 times a week to 2-3 times a week.

What's you opinion on homework?

I could complain a whole lot more, but...

No kidding. I would trade up the working world for the work load of high school or college any day, even though I'm pretty lucky in terms of work load and stress level at my job.

Try to enjoy it while you can.

It's better than working. Try riding your bike to school for more riding time!

HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL, I hate HS, HAHAHAHAHAHA..... oh sh*t.

Sorry, but all I can say is buck up Sally it's going to be a looong ride. I hate driving a box to go work in a box, that is itself located inside a bigger box. FWIW I was in honors classes myself. Just do the work be happy you'll at least learn to communicate better than most. Your first post in this thread is better than a the majority of what I've seen written by HS students on the interweb.

Usually they go something like this:

I hate hoemrwork, how bout U? man it suks.. I wanna ride my bik more, so much homewrok make my hed spin, ugh, waaah..

All that said your potential for misery is always relative to where you are in life so, yeah, I hear you - homework does suck. Good luck and try to ride your bike more.

I work for myself and still wouldn't go back to highschool...actually thinking of heading back into the corporate maw, but we'll see.

If you parlay you moves right when you leave work, for the day, you are done with it and the worry (I'm not that lucky...) When you leave school most of the work is just beginning with papers, thesis's (thesi?) and other work...bah...drop out and get a job, you'll have more fun ;)

This is just the beginning, wait until you have a real job.

I work 4 hours a week at a bike shop. Just enough money to support the parts I break and, of course, the experience and knowledge is worth every minute I spend there.

Again, I like the actual class and learning things...but all the homework seems unnecessary.

Also, this is just Freshman year...probably only going to get worse.
It's interesting to hear your opinions...lets hear some more!

be glad that you can ride when you have the opportunity.
don't wish your life away.
getting a job is great, keepng that job is alot more work than high school.
when you loose that job, you'll have more time to ride.
when you retire from that job (if there is such a time), you may be too old to ride.
enjoy what you have now.

Unfortunatley, there is not much money in biking. You have to be a 10 time World Champion, go to the Olymics, appear in bike mags....to be fully covered.
Anyone want to do my homework AND pay me to ride?....What, no takers!!!!

Oh well. I guess that's life.

I'd take work over school any day of the week. At least when you leave work, its done. School continues to be factor in how you spend the rest of your day. Work also tends to be drama-free. At least it contains less drama than high school ever did.
