subject FALL CLEAN UP DAY SCHEDULED!
HELLO EVERYONE!
It’s that time of year when we try to get into Callahan to pick up the summer litter and assorted other leavings. In addition, the DCR is scheduling the installation of the signs designating the perimeter trail on leash and interior areas of Callahan off leash permitted for the same days — Veteran’s Day Weekend.
Come to the FALL CLEAN UP!
November 10th, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Rain Date is November 11th, also 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Our participation in the Spring ParkServe Day was a success, in part because of support by professional dog walker Victoria Neeson, who sent some of her staff to help, and also a local corporation had a large number of their employees on hand. We were outnumbered! Let’s try to do better ourselves this time. You don’t have to come for the whole time, but if many of us can give even 2 hours we can get a lot done in one day!!
We’ll have bags and some shovels and rakes. Please bring gloves and wear sensible shoes.
