THAT really stinks!

While, everyone has their own opinion, I'll gladly take all the heat U wanna dish about fixing an erosion nightmare caused by quads - several of whom even rode right by without stopping while we were repairng their damage.

Yes. Its a bit of an obscure trail entrance accessable at the horseshoe driveway on Trotting Park Road.

It looked more fun before the hand hewning. Not much chance to slip off on dead bark now...

We plan on putting the bark back before you come back to ride it ;-)

Uomo, we plan on a nice slick coating of EVOO and a surround of pungee sticks for your first ride. That should make it a little more interesting. :rad:

You can't be accused of sanitizing something when your the one who built it in the first place.

My he's handy with his tool. I say put out an APB for this guy. He looks plenty guilty to me.

Well...here's the video of him just before we scraped the bark off. Not only was his butt itchy...butt...he couldn't stay on the log. That's one reason we had to sanitize it...can you figure out the other?????

What type of tool did you use to bring that log to "hand hewn" perfection? I am looking to reroute a section of trail that I ride very often and this would be a great addition to an already fun trail... I just got the land owners permission.
thank you

It was vertically cut with a chainsaw at six inch intervals for the length of the log, approx 4in deep, then I used a sharpened chisel ended rock bar to chip out the sections.
