I'd love to get into some solo night riding. I used to do solo night hiking in the mountains and found it exciting. :) I'd like to get LED lights because they're more dependable and I don't have to buy new bulbs. I'd also like two lights in case one dies, one for the handlebar and the other on my helmet. What do you suggest?

MiNewt X2 for the helmet, and MiNewt X2 dual for the bars...
bright white light, very low weight, and they charge in like 3 hours...

Affordable, work well, and built by someone right here in Connecticut.

Are those 3 minewts bright enough to go normal speed? The dual only has a 1:30 burn time which is low. I usually go out for 2 hours at least.

Hey Goose, you are covering old ground - use the search function for "lights" and you'll get plenty of advice, including mine.
Don't compromise on getting the best lighting possible for the type of riding you do - it's your neck on the line.
