I dumped my whole camera onto shutterfly here: http://garrettrb.shutterfly.com/action/pictures?a=67b0de21b351844a05b2

The racoon was hanging around the visitors center when I first came in the park.

After selling my used stuff all day I didnt get to ride until 4:00. When I was close to the Visitors center I jumped off the trail to use the bathroom and there was a racoon hanging around by the door. The funny thing was the racoon was scratching on the tree next to the door like a house cat scratches on the furniture. I yelled at him to shoo him away but he didnt care about me, he just move to the back of the tree and kept scratching. When I came back out he was still there scratching on the next tree. Very strange.

Is that AA riding without a helmet?

Hey Peter, cute girlfriend you have there! What's her name again, Annabelle?

Thanks to digital, I can mash away at the shutter release and not worry about film. I happen to be in the background of a bunch of phil's photos.

Raccoons aren't supposed to be out in the daytime. Can you say rabies?

Raccoons aren't supposed to be out in the daytime. Can you say rabies?

I asked the park worker the next day about this. They said they scared it off and it didn't look like it was sick. They said it was a young racoon looking for food. I still wouldn't get near it though. I'm suprised it didn't try to go inside with the door open next to it.
