Fells Kids Ride: Saturday - 9/15
The MA DCR has created a new program to provide outside, supervised activity for children: "No Child Left Inside". On Saturday, September 15th, Greater Boston NEMBA RideGuides will be leading a ride sponsored by the DCR for children ages 6-14. Here are the details:
What: DCR / NEMBA No Child Left Inside Ride
Where: Middlesex Fells - Meet at Flynn Rink

When: Saturday September 15th
When: meet @ 11:00am for preride meeting
Skill Level: Kids - ages 6-12
Duration: about 1-1.5 hrs
Pace: all will be waited for
411: This is ride is meant to introduce children to the fun, excitement and fitness benefits that come from riding bikes in the woods and to teach respect for the parks, trails, and other trail users.. The ride will be well staffed and every safety precaution will be observed. Parents are welcome on the ride, but not required. Riders must have a serviceable bike, properly fitting helmet, and water for the ride. Snacks will be provided! (If you cannot supply a bike or helmet for your child, please let Tim Post or Lynn Hildenbrand know as soon as possible and we'll arrange something - we have a limited number of loaner bikes so contact us soon.) Please preregister with Lynn Hildenbrand at 781-662-5214.
Note: There will be 1 more ride in October (10/6). Please join us for one or both!
