Hmm, the Ktrak only comes with a 6-speed cassete. Can you use that with an 8-9 speed shifting system?

pretty cool, works with or without the front ski (which I assume you need for the deep stuff or carving)

it says the cog spacing matches 8-9 speed

These things work pretty damn good; there are usually a few around at the Shawnee Peak snow race that you can jump on for a spin.

I'd go with the BikesOn Snow up front and a nice fat studded tire in the back, personally.
Although, I think two studded tires will do most of what the ktrak can do, it does look cool in a techy, gadgety way.
Maybe if it were free or damn close to free. I think I know just the person to show them to :)
