Our 7th annual White Mountain MTB weekend is coming up August 25 & 26, based out of Echo Lake State Park in North Conway. The schedule goes like this:
Sat. 9 to 12 - Optional trail building
Sat. 1 pm - 4 - rides
Sat. 4 pm 'til whenever - party & BBQ (rain date is Sunday)
Sun. 9 am - rides
Don't let the trailbuilding aspect keep you away. There are no guilt trips up here, if you feel like building, great; if you don't please come ride & party anyway. No registration needed, just show up ready to have some fun.
We're doing this weekend in conjunction with the Mt. Washington Valley Velo Club, the local roadie group. They have various length unsupported group rides going out on Saturday (rain date Sunday), including a superb 4-notch century. Some info under the "Events" section of http://www.mwvvelo.org/ . There is an earlier start to the longer road rides.
