Hello Calvin:
I'm looking to join an intermediate lead ride. Is this something you're planning, and if so what time do need to be there?
Thanks,
Mark

Thinking of trying something a little bit different: how does pulled pork nachos sound?

I'm definitely going to make this one--I have room in/on my car for at least one more, for the drive up from Quincy.......

How did it go?
I had hoped to make it up there, but a busted clavicle friday made the trip out of the question.

It was a great time--that's some of the tightest, twistiest singletrack I've ever seen! We rode most of the east side, with local 'Charles', his wife and a couple other locals and a couple fellow Mass. riders. I bailed on the last few miles, with a serious jones'n for Jaime's famous 'Q--which is everything they say about it, and more--Very cool having the Chef walk up and ask me if I want some homemade smoked Kielbasa, while I'm still wipin' off the trail sweat, even before making my donation!
Also very cool the trail system that Calvin and his buds have put together and even cooler that they have a land manager that lets them do that!

Yourself or Mathew? Hope it is nothing worse...and a quick recovery.

Me.
I see the ortho Thursday for prognosis discussions. The ER guys thought the Xray was quite interesting...

The Bradbury Mountain Kona-Kenda gig was awesome. Calvin and crew did a really great job, and Jaime and Mary outdid themselves with the pulled pork. Hmmmmmm! I'll get pictures up soon.
Hammerhead: Bummer! Never good when you got something "interesting" at the orthopods. Leaned a new word once after I broke my collarbone -- "comminuted (http://www.medterms.com/script/main/art.asp?articlekey=8079)"
Never a good sign. Heal fast, H.

Something about multiple overlaps leading to substantial shortening of the left side.
Right now I am just dealing with the pain with the help of multiple pain killers and doing a lot of reading.

HH-
Take it easy. I learned the hard way after fracturing my right clavicle, as I went right back to work with a sling, but couldn't help but move it around too much, and then had a 'non-union' break---what they call it after 6 weeks have passed and you're not healed up---and then needed to start the painfully long process of scheduling surgery......It was 8 months before I could work AND ride again. Take it easy. (And ride the trainer).................
