Stockton Springs/Penobscot Bay Area

Next week the family is headed to Stockton Springs for a week's vacation. Anyone have any ride suggestions for this area? Thanks in advance for any input. I searched the web a bunch and found some spots but not much detail, I'm not looking to travel too far. The site is at the north end of Penobscot Bay.

I used to live just north of Belfast, 20 years ago. I'm not sure if there's anything in the areas of Belfast, Searsport or Bucksport.
There are trails in the Camden area that are open to mtbing. I never ridden there myself and i have no additional info on them.
There's also Acadia National Park that has a great network of carriage trails that are worthwhile just for the views, but no singletrack for Mtbing.
Road riding in that area is better bet for riding oppurtunities.

I rode some trails at the Camden Snow Bowl last summer, and they were pretty nice, and pretty tough. There's an outdoor store on Rt 1 just south of Camden that was very helpful with directions. Otherwise, just try to find the nearest bike shop to where you are staying, and stop in and ask them. I am sure there are some local gems.
