Any suggestions on a good all around repair/maintenance manual for mountain bikes?

I'm with Edge check out Todds book,it's put out by Bicycling. You can find it anywhere(Barnes and Noble, Borders,etc) you will learn alot.If you are looking for something advanced check out Barnett's bicycle manuals but your gonna have to drop some cash(about $150.00 new or $75.00 used).

Nice guy. I met him a year or so ago working at Naults in Nashua. I believe they have changed location since then.

Bicycling magazine used to put one out a few years ago that was really good. I used to reference that alot when I was a kid and now i'm onto my second mechanic job at bike shops, so i'd say it was pretty effective.

I've heard great things about the Park book too.

Not a paper manual, but Park's tech section on their website offers some good info on various repairs for free. Some of the pictures are better than others, but I've found it useful in the past.
