ZAch has to test his work

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/jgoeller/trailwork/april22/img_9959.jpg

and Peter decided to try it too!

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/jgoeller/trailwork/april22/img_9960.jpg

now teh top berm is getting dirt. note the drain at the bottom

http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b227/jgoeller/trailwork/april22/img_9961.jpg

Closer look at the drain. we dug teh pit right unter the berm wall, filled it with small stones, the coverit in a silt cloth , and added more rock on top of that ,

adding dirt to the Roll out.

Tamping out the top berm.

at this point I needed to leave.

However . a little later , we would have our chapter meeting, at a local watering hole. over half the people in attendance were also helping dig the trail.

Splat,

Thanks to you and the burly crew that showed up. It looks like you really had some motivated folks. One of these days I'll actually get down that way to see what we purchased and what all the hubbub is about. I'll have to get some body armor first!

Thanks again,
Alf
