Besides riding on the mountain, what other MTB riding opportunities are in the area?
Also, are there any rail trails/bike paths within driving distance to Mount Snow for family riding?
Thanks

The XC riding at Mt Snow, was that on their property, a place called Cross Town? Or is there some please else to ride that is free?
From what I gather, if you want single track you have to ride their XC ski place called Cross Town and it costs like $10 ride there.

to tell you the truth its off season so no one is thare bike shope wasnt even open yet so its all fair game
i got a lot of good hook ups at mt snow ive never payed to ride thare or ski just make a phone call and things get taken care of
but in response to what you were asking i did do the cross town trails and some trials on the base of the mt that are part of mt snow
mt snow i think is full on open at the end of this month if not two weekends from now

Cross Town is a couple miles down the road from the base lodge and was free to ride the last time I was there a few years ago. I used to take my kids there to ride when they were young. Do they charge now? I thought it was a public park.
There is plenty of XC single track at the ski resort, but they want you to buy a trail pass to ride it. Lots of up and down, and very challenging as they really don't take care of the trails. Gotta love those 18% grades, washouts, off-camber roots, etc.

OK, then I must have been mistaken about what I have read. Sounds like there is alot to ride.
So, is there a map of this cross town area?
