Need to replace my old cateye. Looking for wireless w/cadence function that will work on a mtb. Originally bought a VDO C3DS but the magnet/transmitter gap has to be 3-10 mm which puts transmitter too close to wheel esp. w/ the mounting hdwre supplied....
Any ideas??
Thanks

Hmmm, I think 3-10mm is a pretty standard distance between the magnet and sensor.... unless you got a real big magnet! :)

Mavic computers use a special wheel skewer as the transmitter so it should give more distance between the pickup and magnet. It's on sale at performance for 69.99. Here's a link http://www.performancebike.com/shop/profile.cfm?SKU=18369&subcategory_ID=4110
