Hey Folks,
I have some dates, the next few Saturdays in fact, that I'd like to solicit some help with.
F Gilbert Hill State Forest, commonly know as Foxboro, Wrentham or Franklin SF, has CONFIRMED roadside clean up dates as follows:
April 7, Foxboro SF
April 14, Wrentham SF
April 21, Franklin SF
All roadside clean-ups will begin at 10:00 am. Please meet at the designated parking areas for each SF.
Unfortunately, I have work commitments on two of these dates, so I also need a lead person for this coming Saturday, April 7 in Foxboro and April 21 in Franklin to represent NEMBA. I am available for the 14th in Wrentham.
Please reply with your thoughts and availability on all this. Particularly, if you feel up to the all important needs in Foxboro this week.
I strongly feel it is in the best interest of the mountain biking community, NEMBA in particular, to be involved with these dates as a show of good will towards the land management and other user groups.
Years past, we had a presence here, however of late, not so much. The work to be done is simple, quick and easy. Just like it sounds, we'll pick up trash that has accumulated over the winter. Also perhaps, that a look at other areas that need a bit more attention.
We need to be involved in this.
Thank you in advance for your participation,
Kevin Delaney
