Beautiful day in the woods yesterday. We started early so the ground would be frozen and there was no mud.

The traction and trail conditions were great, nice and frozen at 8AM. Good ride for sure! Conditions are altogether different today.
This will be the week to start watching for when to give the trails a break (http://www.nemba.org/Articles/SoftRiding.html)...we were finished by noon, and the trails were just starting to show signs of the first spring thaw...today, and the rest of the week they are sure to be a mess...

Exactly as CP said, the trails were frozen Saturday but I checked today and it was a totally different story. Totally wet and muddy. We all need to stay off the trails until they dry out.
