My bike is packed and I am nearly ready to go. I'm leaving this afternoon for a year in Europe. First 6 months will be in Italy and the second will be in Belgium. I should be back into time in 2008 for the summer season.

You guys take care. I suspect I will continue to lurk around the forums. Check out the stories and pictures of what I am missing here.

But I will have my bike with me, and I have already found a guy in the Milan office that rides a Blur, so I hope to find some great Eurotrail.

If anyone finds themselves in Milan or Brussels over the next year, give me a shout.

Hey didn't you just buy a house and settle down in NH? I suspect this is work related? Take care.

Try Lake Garda if you get a chance to go north to the Alps. I hear the biking is amazing.

Italy is among my favorite places in the world. Have a great year!

I just got back from 3 weeks in Italy (skiing and family). From Milan go to Finale Ligure for some awesome biking (April is great!). I did a write up in Singletracks of that place a few years back. Just find Hotel Lorenz and the rest will take care of itself.

Make it to Riva del Garda, of course.

My family (inlaws) is in Rome, so we do not go to Milano. Otherwise we would ride!

Ciao

you just gotta get over to chamonix and ride around the alps. or easier from milan, head into val aosta and valtournenche and breuil cervinia is kickass riding

been there, done that. watch out for the hookers on the farm roadways on the way from milan to the mountains.... they don't sell lemonade
