Time for a new pump. Not too big, and not a mini that takes a million strokes.
Any recommendations?

Topeak Mountain Morph has worked well for me. It's a little bit bigger then a typical "mini" but the advantages are big in return for it's size, b/c it "morphs" into a mini floor pump (has a little fold out air hose with shraeder/presta chuck), & that alone has ended the beating that regular mini pumps tend to dish out to a valve stem(s). The frame mounting options suck, but I wear a camelback almost always, and it fits inside no problem.

Slider already knows this, but stay away from the Crank Bros. dual mode pump. Good idea, but on 'high volume' mode you get about 6 strokes before its too hard too pump. On 'high pressure' mode it takes, oh about 6000 strokes to fill up a tire. Worst pump I ever have used.
Oh yeah, Slider does this mean you are going to carry the pump for a while?

Only when I ride solo. You still got that seatpost in your pack?
Thanks CP, I'll check it out.

I have the same pump. I keep it in my camel pack, It works great. I have used it quite a few times. Never really had a complaint about it. I didn't mind the mounting option for it either. I thought it mounted well. Nice and sturdy. One of the plastic tabs that it was suppose to clip into broke with in a week, but the velcro works fine by itself.

Blackburn Mountain Comp
Fits in seat wedge, camelbak mule outside pocket, or it comes with the frame mount(that hasn't broken despite me trying).
It's the only pump I use, full tire in...well I don't think a floor pump is much faster at all.
In fact my first Blackburn frame mount pump from the 80's still works...I just don't have any Schraeder valves anymore.
