Another Visit to Otis

Well We decided we had so Much fun last week, we wanted to do it again! and after seeing last weeks Pictures a few other decided to join us ( espcially when they have over a foot of snow in there area )

ther ewas a little snow on the cape this week but nothing to worry about .

anyway we started wioth a crew of 14 riders , and covered a lot of ground. it was a bit cooler today , it was about 20 degrees when we started.

After doing a Small drop to an off camber snowy landing , he cleared the landing area of snow and Kissed a tree with is cheek/chin. mearly a flesh wound.

Well I also tried my hand at playing with taking video , using a "hacked" CVS disposable Video Camera ( read : reusable now :) )

The video makes this look a lot easier than it really is looks in person.

I don't know how we missed running into you guys but we managed to somehow. We kept seeing and sometimes crossing your tracks. I had never been there before and had a blast riding with mtbtom and his crew. It's closer than TOT, it only took me about 45 minutes to get down there. I may have to get there more often. The conditions were nutty yesterday ice, slush, snow, and mud. More like March than Feb.

It was great meeting and riding with you all. Even though it kicked my butt, it was a blast. Thanks for waiting up for me. This ride made me realize a few things, I may need a smaller chainring, better saddle, and a load of more endurance work ahead of me. Even now I cant wait for my next ride! It was a pleasure riding with you all, and Im looking forward to next time.

Otis smiled down upon us as usual, there were enough rewarding spots where the singletrack allowed us to open up the speed...'had a good time runnin' a few of those spots w/ Slappy & Storcula of the mofo leisure team:rad:, I'm gonna have to make a run to some shuttlin "mofo style" someday soon...
