vicarious bike purchase

Not having any money myself, I am having to live vicarious through my friends.

My buddy is looking to get back into mountain biking after a several year absence. He is asking my advice on an Ironhorse Azure Comp that he found on special on mtbr.com. From the reviews (only 2 on mtbr.com) and the component set, it looks like a good bike, but is it a good deal?

Any one got this bike? Would you recommend it at the price?

I love my azure, climbs like a mountain goat, yet decending isn't impaired.
my only complaint is that it is a little heavier than some of the competition
