Not sure you want to buy from a site that ends in .cz. Check out the usual internet discounters. I like shimano (520-540), some like crank bros.(candy, mallet). You can find some of both brands for near $50. Never bought from these guys but they seem to have some reasonable prices http://www.blueskycycling.com/cat-pedals.htm

Wellgo are good. But Time pedals has seen more race winners than any other brand. Shimano and Crank Bros. are very good to. It's really about personal preference. Check out Nashbar http://www.nashbar.com/results.cfm?category=108&subcategory=1078&storetype=&estoreid=&init=y&pagename=Category%3A%20Pedals
They have some smokin' prices on the last four pedals on the page.

I've had good dealings with blueskycycling. Bought a couple of things there, no problems. Relatively quick shipping, too.

I bought a pair of Wellgo's a few years back and they were trash. They never released when you wanted them to always released when you didn't. I agree with the posts above- go with Shimano or Crank Bros. they may cost a little more but you get what you pay for....

Yeah, Wellgos suck, at least they did last time I tried 'em 6-7 years ago. Couldn't screw them down tight enough for a big rider like me.

what the benifit of clipless compared to clips?

Toe clips and straps? Tightening and losening all the time is a pain. Getting out, when they are as tight as you need them, can be a problem. As well, when tight, they get uncomfortable after a while. MTBing, the clips get stuck on stuff, when you are not in them.
They do have the advantage in the mud. And you never get "mechanically" stuck in them, it's always your own fault. And hiking boots fit in much better, for winter riding. And your shoes don't have to have cleats that can get in the way on rock, or in the house. (But you can run cleats for toe clips, to catch the back edge of the pedal cage.)
IMO - Clipless is way better, but clips and straps definitely work. Ran them for many of years...

I used a pair for about 3 years so they last forever
