I live down in Masschusetts but will be traveling to VT the week of thanksgiving visiting family and was wondering where can I go for some good riding? I'll be around the Randolph VT area but am willing to go 50 miles in any direction if it's worth the trip.
Thanks for any input you can provide :)

Millstone in E. Barre, VT is good, lots of worthwhile singletrack. But it's not the KT. Not sure if they are still open for biking, or if they close like the KT does in October. http://www.millstonetrails.com/
There's also the Turkey Burner Fun ride on Nov.24 near Manchester, NH if you don't mind driving an hour. http://www.fomba.com

The KT is closed for the season but mill stone is still open. Down load a map before you go. Last week when I was up there I saw nothing in the box. But don't worry to much the place is small and can't really get to lost. Be carfull for all the down leafs it covers up some of the sharp rocks. That is no big deal either.

Try Green Mountain Bikes in Rochester--They're really cool and fun to ride with.......they have some great trails in their little country town surrounded by the GMNF.
There also -used to- be a great trail system in Randolph from the Pedro's era....not sure if they are still open/rideable......

Well I got in touch with Millstone..... I guess they close up their official season as of November 1st but if the trails are rideable then they'll be open next week when I'm going to be there.
I left a message with Green Mountain.... lol they seem like an odd bunch :P
Thanks for all the input guys,

Well if anyone's wondering I did get up to VT but drove the day of and came back on Thanksgiving.
I rode at The 3 Stallions inn/resort which was all right but far too soft and wet. Looks like w/ better condition(and knowing the correct trails to take) there would be some real bitchin' fast single track :)
