Anyone have experience replacing a spoke that seems to have pulled out of the nipple on the rim? These UST rims don't have access to the back of the nip so I assume that the nip just threads out to replace it and the missing spoke........
Meanwhile, I'm enjoying(trying to) the 'old-school' XT/Bontrager/tube setup that
was gathering dust....
I'm torn , I like the responsiveness of the new stuff but I like the more resilient feel of the old 3-cross. What I really do like is the simplicity of tubeless(but I have yet to flat on the trail.....) and the suppleness of the ride.....

I just converted to stan's no tubes system. My old school three cross wheels feel great and no flats yet! as far as the enduros, easy fix get the spoke and nipple from a mavic dealer. Nipple theads out with the mavic nipple tool spoke mounts back in behind hub then threads in nipple, done!

Thanks dude! last winter while I had Teds 'Solution' I converted his current wheelset to Stans--it worked great with a regular 2.4 Motoraptor up front and a Michy HotS UST 2.2 rear. Now I think that bike has the real schmancy Crossmax wheelset on it.
I'll just fix the Enduro for now--only 1 year old, and otherwise strong. That's why I got them--I figured they'd give me a few years, at least.......
Soon we ride Ames Nowell? Do you have any weekday am's?
