Hey! working on a project bike for my 12 yr old and I am looking for some short cranks. 165 should be perfect. Trying to do this on the cheap. any suggestions would be great too! I will be hitting up harris Cyclery tomorrow to see what Sheldon has stowed away!

Hiya Heckler,
I have the stock cranks that came on my Cannnondale kids bike. I think they're even smaller than 165, generic Sugoi or CODA IIRC. Lemme know if you're interested, I'll go dig them out of the basement...
Thanks

Thanks Ann!
If you could find out just how long they are, that woud be great. I don't want them too short. These are for my 12 yr old's cross bike/road bike. He currently has my 175's and they are way way too long. He is about your height actually. What do you run on your bikes? A 160 might work.

Went down to Harris Cyclery today at lunch to see what they had. Came away with a pair of 165mm cranks and one ring (my outer ring should work and is the correct size). $37! such a deal!
I like that shop! will definitely have to get in there more often.
Thanks for looking!
