Wompatuck truck break in Sunday 10/9

I had my truck window smashed and a pocket book stolen out of my truck Sunday 10/9 sometime between 12 noon and 3 pm. It is a tan colored Ford Escape that was parked in the small over flow lot as you drive thru the main lot where the headquarters building is. The pocket book was a distinctive Mountain Smith red/yellow trim bag. If you see it or may have seen the incident or the scum bags who did it please reply to this thread. My advice would be to not park where I did near the N2 trail head and yes hide valuables.

That is a drag. I rode tonight and saw the broken glass and hoped someone had locked the keys in their car. Did you let the ranger know about the break-in?

Additional info. Look out for a red mercedes. Another break in at Blue Hills today. Again any one who may have seen a similar car at Wompatuck or BH please reply. Some of the stolen items were recovered at a gas station in Waltham after this guy and a woman were seen dumping the contents into a trash barrel. He must be targeting biking/hiking spots.
