Stolen Bike Alert

A friend of mine had her bike stolen last night in Cambridge. She had locked it up in Porter Sq for a quick food run and came out to find it gone. Not much hope of finding it but I figured I would post a description in case anybody happened upon it. We'll be checking Craigslist! Can anybody suggest other places I could post a description?

It was a large silver Giant Iguana Disc. I don't know the component details right now but it had very red/black semi slick tires on it. They really stood out. The bike was prestine (she never took it off road but please don't hold that against her! ;) ). Black seatpost and stem, Manitou fork.

Bummer--I hope she gets it returned...

What kind and brand of lock did she have? Picked or cut?

She had a cable (and I asked, it went through the rack) and it was gone. No pieces left behind. No word on what sort of cable though., She said "medium size".

Any pics availible. I wish people(thieves) would just get a job to get what they want instead of stealing it from the people that wourked hard to get what they have. Thieves piss me off to no end.
