I have a brand new Marzocchi Z1 FR Light on my 2005 Kona Coiler, and whenever I hit the front brake hard or do a stoppie, or even push down on the handlebars, I hear a creak/clicking noise. I checked all the brake mounts and the handlebar and stem. I even took the fork off and cleaned and regreased the headset, but nothing is working for me. Please help!
It only started to make this noise 2 weeks ago after a trip up to highland bike park. The noise is really starting to get to me!!!!

Check your derailleur cable-stops on the frame(top tube or down tube)....sometimes grit gets in there and will cause a creakin........

Try a different front wheel. My Mavic Crossmaxs creaked and I thought it was the fork or headset I finally tried a different front wheel and found out.

I have a Marzoc and cane creek headset. The headset does get loose once in a while and tick/creak. Really got to crank it tight.

I know you checked your headset but did you check the bearing cups? Make sure they are snug and perfectly shaped any play could cause that noise.

I also had an annoying front end problem(loosening headset) that was the result of my not having enough space between the top of steer tube and top of stem(usually need at least 1/8"......no amount of cranking on the star-nut or stem bolts seemed to work. A mechanic pointed this out and one more thin spacer was all it needed.........
