Talk about an awesome time!! I just got home from a 3-day Mt bike and camping trip through "Back Country Excursions" in Parsonsfield, ME. The trails are incredible and well maintained. There was everything from easy single/double track to extreme single track with stunts that were hand made. The owner "Cliff" resides on 9000 acres of land and has the rights to build what ever he wants. He takes you on a guided tour at your own level and shows you how to tackle his stunt trails if you are up to it. (No pressure though) Some trails were called "half pipe" and "rollercoaster" that were just nuts. He supplies breakfast and lunch and you can camp out by a fire or stay in a neat little hut that sleeps 10. The campsite had an outhouse, shower and a sink. He also has a wood burning hot-tub to soak after the ride. Well I could go on forever so I'll shut up now. It was a blast. NEMBA member "magimerlin" went with me as well. I hope to have a larger group next year.

I can say it was very fun. I'll put on a few pics too. The single track is very nice up there. Sorry no ride pics. I do have some pics of the stunt area, not my style riding but great area for one that does. The place is awsome. CAAD3 and myself choose to camp out there. It was a great time with some great people. The food that was made for us (by Cliff) was really really good aswell. Cliff is a real stand up guy, and puts on a great ride. I would highly suggest that if you want to enjoy a really good time in the back woods of Maine to give him a call. Just go to the link in CAAD3's post above.

Nice!! I forgot to take pics of the campsite. I wish I had pics of the trails but truthfully it's a good thing I didn't bring my camera. It would not have survived my tumble down the mountain.
